Throughout the Gospel of John, Jesus repeatedly encounters “believing unbelievers” — people who do not deny the power, wisdom, and identity of Jesus, but they don’t find life in his name for a variety of reasons. Our goal is to look at a few of Jesus’ interactions with these “believing unbelievers,” because we can learn from what causes people to sit on the fence - whether to remedy our own faith now or to grow it into the future. We do not want to simply acknowledge Jesus’ power, we want to see him as the King and Son of God and find life in his name.
